Default Windshield question: Will '07 unit fit '19 models?

Just curious about the windshield fitment on my new bike. I just traded in my '07 Ultra Classic, and purchased an '19 Street Glide. I have a spare W/S from the '07, and I was just wondering if that would fit the '19? I'm not really delighted with the 'stock' '19 windshield on the Street Glide, and would like to change it. I'm just wondering if the changes in the Bat Wing faring include any changes in windshield fitment, and if so, what the cut dates are? Any help would be appreciated! Many thanks, Tom D.

The windshield for a 19 SG fits 14 and newer SG and Ultra. The batwing fairing change in the Rushmores changed windshield fitment.

2 things if you have, you could try it. Second I just go to sites selling therrs its forr stuff or manufacturer. They typically say range of year. Sometimes stuff like amazon this doesn't work as well with, they just give you what the search engine thinks you want sometimes. But even then description often says.

I have a buddy with a '12 SG, and he has a 'spare' Clockworx Windshield......which I picked up today. And......as per the post by DSM.....it does NOT fit! Evidently the '14 & up aspect of fitment is correct. I can add that the fitment is close. If you set the WS in place and install the center screw, the two outside hole of the older unit are about 1" 'outboard' of the holes in the faring. So, one could pretty easily drill about a 3/4" hole about 1" from the existing holes and it would probably fit fine! But, as this is not my WS, I'm just returning it and now ordering elsewhere. But........lesson learned!! WC

Just to confirm, it appears that from '15 forward they are different than from '14 back. The difference appears to be that the two outer screws on the '15 and later are about 1" inboard from where they are on the '14 and back. So, if you're in to drilling, I believe you can make the '14 and later fit the '15 and newer. However, because it's actually narrower from the get-go, I"m not sure that you can go in the other direction. It may be that the '15 and later is too narrow to provide room to drill 2 more holes 1" on either side to the outside of the originals. The center mounting hole fits perfectly. Had the '12 windshield I borrowed been mine, I'd have drilled it and been fine. As it was, I ended up finding a similarly configured windshield on the bay, all of $18 shipped, and it's already on the bike! Looks great, fit great, and for $18, I'm delighted! So much for happy endings!!
