That's what I'll try to do. I like saving money..... Well let's say I like putting less money in the toy money pit. lol

Honestly, I would run the hard bags a couple of times. You might be surprised and like them. I have an 09 Road King and a 17 Ultra Limited. I have bag liners for both and they work great; however, the single latch on the UL is the difference maker over the two leather straps on the RK. Good luck with your decision and soon to be new bike.

I have both the original leather bags and a set of HD's newer 14 bags for my '09 RKC. I can switch them out in a few minutes and change the looks of the bike a lot. For any riding when we will be accessing stuff in the bags I prefer the one hand handle. It easy, fast, and the bags can be locked. But there are times when I prefer the classic look the bike is intended to have. It's nice having the option to switch.

Saw a set of classic bags on Facebook marketplace yesterday for $110...for that price you can swap back and forth to your and your brides hearts content.

To me the RK has classic bike looks. Best looking bike in HD line. Surprised they don't sell the heck out of them. You did good, nice colors!

The Classic bags do look sharp but the hard bays are more functional.
