Let me say I would rather ride a hundred miles of mountain road than a thousand on the slab.

Street riding only, I have over 500,000 miles on Harley, and over 500,000 miles on other brands.

So put me in the million miles club. And that is the result of my riding, not the purpose of my riding
Best guess would be about 1.4 million and counting. could hit 2 if the deer do not win.

Not hard to average 20,000 miles per year for 50 years. I did over half that just commuting to work.

Been street legal since 1964, and in retirement I ride 100 miles most days just for fun.

Man, I am amazed by all you OCD fuggers that keep journals

I have been trying to figure it out. I can only try and remember how many miles were on the ODO when I bought them, and how many when I got rid of them.

Since my first street bike was in '89, it's tough to remember!

I am not even going to try and include all the dirt bikes from age 7, and I still have my WR450.

Conservative guess on road miles would be 250K ?

Doesn’t matter. No many miles I put on I’m still ONE short of my goal. Lol

IK ?
Not a journal, but I know roughly how many miles when I buy something, and how many when I wreck or sell. Then math is involved.

I dont know so much the ones when I was young, but those are a drop in the bucket. Not like we testifying. I am also the type to hold on to things, so that makes it easier.

Bought my first Harley in September 2004, since then I am on my 4th Harley. In total Harley miles I have ridden 202,000 miles. Probably 4,000 total on other brands prior to that.

1. 2005 Heritage bought brand new, 58,626 miles.
2. 2005 Ultra bought used, 49,095 miles.
3. 2012 Ultra Limited bought used, 30,716 miles.
4. 2013 Ultra Limited bought used and current bike, 64,000 miles.

So, not bad for just over 15 years!

With my 270K miles since 2003, at least 10K miles a year are vacations on Motorcycles. For Example 2018 we rode from TN to NM, AZ and South West TX, seeing many National Parks and mountain roads. Then in August we rode out to Glacier National Park. This year we did NM, AZ UT and CO. Then we also did OK, AR and MO, and a 3rd trip to MI. So we have tons of memories. It helps my wife loves to ride her bike as much as I love to ride mine. I only did 30K miles between 03, and 07 when my wife did not ride. Over 20K a year since she took up riding her own.

No journal hear. Since 03 all my Harley's have been new bikes. When traded, miles are on the paper work for the new bike. Shows miles on trade and miles on new bike, but a new Harley has always been less then 10 miles. I have the bill of sale for every car, truck or bike I have ever bought

No idea. I'm pushing 15K on my 2019 Ultra. That will increase this winter since I have heated gear now plus the wife wants to take a few trips.

Simple answer, not nearly enough! Since 1973, 26 different bikes averaging 15 k miles a year, hell my butt feels numb just thinking about it. So many great rides over the years including one crazy non stop ride from Cape Breton to Virginia, 1430 miles, lol!
