Close to a half a million miles over the years ... Been on road bikes since 1966 ... Been in 46 of the 50 states and done all the "must do" rides ... This last summer was an exception as I didn't get out anywhere near as much as I would have liked .... On my 70th Trip around the sun and hope this year isn't a sign of things to come :<(

While on the surface of our planet, we are actually traveling at about 1000/mph while rotating on our axis.
Earth is circling the sun at approximately 65,000 mph.
Our solar system, including our sun is traveling in the Milky Way at just over 510,000 mph.
In the time that it took me to type this, relatively speaking....we've all traveled about 17,000 miles.....
.....and my frikken wife says I never take her anywhere!!!!

I have bought 3 bikes brand new and put 100,000 - 130,000 on all 3. Current bike #4 has 52.000 so I would say I have ridden a little bit. But the experiences I have had both good and bad, are what I will treasure when and if the day comes when I can't get my leg over the seat.
