I love the look of springers, but the truth is it's very old technology that just doesn't perform as well as more modern set ups. Also, pretty much all of HD's markets outside the US now mandate ABS on motorcycles.
I'd like to own one as well and will keep looking, but most motorcycle buyers today want higher tech suspension and ABS brakes.
I guess it's one of favorites too. Bought this one a couple years ago . Unmolested '97 with 9,000 miles and a bunch of extras. Bike looked like it sat in a showroom for 20 yrs. I really need to get a better picture of it.
