Life has managed to beat a lesson into my head: Never half-*** a job.

Either whole-*** that thing, or don't do it at all.

Do your forks at the same time. Otherwise it will look strange.

Electrical tape won’t stand up in the long run, it will crack and ooze glue from the edges due to temperature variations. Most people tend to stretch the tape as they apply it thinking it will give it a good snug fit, this will cause it to pull back and lift at the edges as well as unfurl. If you must do it, at least use 3M brand tape rated for outdoors, the sun’s UV, heat and cold won’t affect it as quick as the cheaper tape. Oh yeah, secure the ends with zip-ties to help hold it in place from shrink/pullback and use a 50 percent overlay wrap as you wind the tape around.

I agree with ride my seesaw, but I would use good masking tape under the electrical tape. Much easier cleanup.

Looks like crap to me.
What works for bicycles won`t work well for motorcycles. The debris (sand, stones, etc.) propelled by much higher windspeed will pepper that tape to shreds in a few days to a week if used on a motorcycle.

If it was my bike I wouldn't even think about it. To me, it's one way to take a perfectly good bike and cheapen it by wrapping that crap on the bars. If I wanted black bars, I'd buy them already black and not cheapen the look of a perfectly good Harley but to each their own.
