AZ sounds similar & let me tell you I-10 has been a virtual racetrack this week. I was on my SV1000S doing 97 mph & people were passing me. Wide open like I've never seen it. I'm a healthcare worker so no rest for the wicked. But that's fine I'd probably strangle my wife if I were home for a solid month.
Some guy in CO on a motorcycle was going 173 this week. Probably not a Harley. 😂
I was stopped this morning driving a commercial box truck in Pennsylvania by a state trooper. Had the documents to prove my essential status and was informed that it will be a $250 fine for all non-essential travel. His point was they don't want any emergency or accident situations to be possibly overloading the hospital's in case the Corona virus inundates the health care system.
This is starting to suck. I picked up a car-hauler for my tractor. Sent the registration downstate, and probably won't see it for months now.
Can't haul the stuff to my property in WI. No plate yet on the trailer, and out-of-state on my truck.
It's warm enough, I could stay overnight in the barn and cook over a fire. Pay-at=the=pump, and not come within 100 yards of anybody the whole time.
But no...
PA is on lockdown but they seem to be reasonable about it.
I talked to a police friend of mine to ask him about riding during the lockdown. He said it's fine and allowed as its considered recreation and isolating on its own. He actually told me the cops are being told NOT to pull anyone over for anything other than extreme traffic violations which would endanger public safety. They want to minimize risk to the officers as well so no minor pullovers. In other words the PA cops will leave bikers alone as long as they aren't running like twice the speed limit or something stupid.

See, this is the problem. It seems as every LEO has his/her own interpretation of the law and theres no consistency.
Not stopping anyone here in Wa. St. We have the same stay at home order for non- essentials, which is not a shelter in place order. there are so many people out and about. The State Patrol is having a field day with speeders because for low traffic on I-5. But side roads are different. Lots of road to ride on. Be safe, Be well, but get out and ride for F's sake.
“The Executive Order 01-20 does not authorize road closure or the establishment of roadblocks, checkpoints or the authority to demand identification. You will continue to see motor-vehicle and pedestrian traffic as Vermonters pursue permissible activities outdoors and travel to and from businesses and entities that are continuing to operate under the Order. Accordingly, the Order does NOT establish cause to initiate a motor vehicle stop. The protections in Article 11 of the Vermont Constitution and the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitutions still apply.”

Now ain't that a peach. That goes completely against what my officer bud told me, also in PA....
