How much riding experience?
How long you've been riding does'nt say much. You could have had been riding for 10 years, but only in good weather, and achieved only 10,000 miles.Miles= Experience.

RE: How much riding experience?
I don't have any idea how many miles...
But I've primarily used Street bikes year round since 1979...
So probably like some of the other bros here I hit the 500,000+ option.

I would argue only miles equal experiance. You could put all your miles on Interstates in N Dakota or put it in NYC, Chicago or LA. You mentioned "fair weather" riders. Some people might develop ulcers if they were told to ride in some bad weather. If you mention that you have heated gearsome tell you they don't ridecolder that 50. (kinda cuts down the riding season inIL).

Also no idea, but I've been riding since 1966 with years off with no access to a bike. I had 2 bikes before I had a car. In the years I've ridden though, some years were 100 miles a day, but rarely on weekends. Now it's 15 miles a day and hundreds on weekends. Weather has never mattered to me. I just avoid ice, snow, and below zero.

Got my Cushman motorscooter 47 years ago. Had some Japanese stuff through the years. Didn't keep any track of the mileage on the ones that even had working speedos.Had a 1987 Heritage that I put 20,000 miles on, 80,000 the Roadking, 24,000 so far on the EG Classic. This along with bikes of other people thatI have ridden.
I have ridden in cold, rain, snow, and sunshine, andin big citys as well as the countryside, desert, and Rocky Mountains with groups, and by myself. Don't know if that equates to experience or not, but it's sure been fun.

3 years, 3 months -22,000 miles. Back roads, highway, and city. I ride all year round, down to 20 degrees with no shield and no heated gear. Longest trip has only been about 275 miles but I'm workin' on that. I was gona do the 900 mile round trip to Laconia this year but I bought my Streetbob and didn't want to make that run on a bike that wasn't broken in.

RE: How much riding experience?
Riding since 1975, had some low mile years and some with high miles hard to tell what the total might be. Probly around 10,000 a year which ain't bad for Central New York.

Most polls are skewed due to dishonest answers. The results of this poll looks as if everyone is being honest.
I've always said it doesn't matter if you've been riding 20 years, it's how many miles have you ridden.
