I want more control of my ride and a better look. My 2002 Road King with no front fairing has a rise of 10.5”, that’s inside the lower bar to the top. Looking at 6.5” rise and also like the 4”. Need input from you guys about the fit and handling. Now, I’m *5’9”, and I feel uncomfortable with bars that high, my control needs to more to my height when sitting. I’m looking at one from JP Cycles 6.5” low rise, and it has some good reviews, so, they are not knurled and do they have to be.

I have the Wild 1s 504 on my RK, 4.5" rise, I too have better control with lower bars, especially low speed handling, I wish they had about 1" more rise so I could turn them down just a bit, I have them as low as they can go without the controls hitting the tank lock to lock but I'm used to them now.

I saw them, sitting I measured a 4” fantasy feel and how my shoulders would feel. I thought that they may be to low because I to like them turn down a little. Are the original HD bars knurled or smooth for the controls. Jerry
PS: for $35 it’s a no brainer to try them. I waiting on my N1 shift control from Baker, I have a DD6 tranny.
