Default New BS from the MOCo

I have a 2017 Road King that has the tranny oil transfer problem . I called my dealer to schedule a repair and was told it is not covered
under my extended service contract. I was told to call Eaglemark Bank to see why they aren't covering the repair, and they said because the
rubber vent to fix the problem didn't come from the factory that way so it's not covered. They just sent me a notice that my service contrat is
about to expire, guess I won't be renewing with them. Oh and for those of you who don't know who Eaglemark is it's the one you get when you buy
an extended service from your dealer. Just more crap the Moco is trying to shove down our throats.

If it's any consolation, the vent kit is not a terribly difficult installation so unless you're have the Stealerhip do it out of warranty, it shouldn't be too bad to do yourself or hire an Indy to do.

I know there will be some who will say that the extended service contract saved their life, the engine or their dog's life but if you ever read the fine print in one of those contracts you'd never sign it or buy it.

I don’t understand, isn’t the vent the fix for this problem.

eaglemark bank has nothing to do with the esp. they are a financial lending company. CNA is the underwriter for the esp.

Did you buy this 2017 RK new with the ESP (extended service plan) or used with the ESP? I'm guessing new because you joined this forum in 2017. If you bought it new why are you getting around to dealing with the problem now when the bike is out of warranty?

Do ESPs from other companies cover this and yours doesn't? In other words, does your ESP not cover something another one does? If not, you have no reason to be pissed at either the ESP company, the dealer or the MoCo.

Also, how did the MoCo try and shove the ESP down your throat? I thought purchasing one is totally voluntary. You didn't have to buy it. Maybe I'm wrong.

This appears to be just another case of buyer's remorse.

I have no buyers remorse, I feel I'm just not getting what I paid for. A warranty should pay for a repair on my motorcycle that
has a defect from the factory, what part of that don't you understand ! And what difference does it make when I deal with
the problem, it wasn't there 2000 miles ago. You got that Dick Tracy !

I'm confused why eaglemark is the contact for the warranty? I thought they were just the financial partner of HD not warranty partner Anyways extended warranties are usually a waste of money I've never had one but always hear horror stories regarding them
