Here in California, you gotta find the choke ****. Didn't us it all summer. Have to find a jacket, same thing, no need for one all summer. Wash it a bit more, gets rain on it here in the winter. You don't have to look for a shady spot to park it so you don't burn your *** when you sit on it.

Ya know, youse wise guys that ride all year are really making me ..... well......I don't know the word. But here in Syracuse, NY, the snow capital of the universe, we are puttin' em away now. My heart is breakin' to be sure. Don't hate me for crying.

I don't do a thing other then top off the gas tank when I know it's gonna be a while 'til I get out again. Never bothered to winterize, don't know if that's good or bad but I never had a problem. However I do try to ride whenever I can though even in the winter here in the North East.

Here's what I do with my EFI bike. With my carbed bike, I add the fuel stabilizer, turn the fuel petcock to "off" and run it until it quits, then I do the oil change.
1. Add fuel stabilizer and ride to a station to fill fuel tank. Then ride home. This ensures stabilizer is in the fuel system and the tank is full.
2. Change all fluids and oil filter.
3. Wash and wax carefully.
4. Ensure tires are fully inflated to recommended psi.
5. Pull and clean A/C.
6. Pull plugs and spray fogging oil in cylinders. Turn engine over (short and sweet) and spray fogging oil through air intake.
7. Reassemble A/C.
8. Hook up battery tender.
9. Cover.
YMMV, but this is my routine.
