They did say that campgrounds will still be open. So I guess you can still go out and ride.

I bet you they regret that decision once they see how much $$ they are going to lose out on. I read somewhere that something like 75% of the towns yearly money comes from the rally.

The riders just need to ride to town from the various campgrounds walk around keep their money in their pockets, then ride over to Deadwood and spend, spend, spend. If Deadwood won't tolerate the money distribution then keep the money in the camp ground. The towns folk and merchants will say to themselves, WTF did we do?

What is the number of people that "responded" to the survey? I didn't see that number indicated. Maybe only 10 people responded.......
