Another dealer closing
One of our locals, Chucks H-D in Bloomington IL will be done as of July 3rd. Their site states that the moco chose to eliminate them, but I understand Winnie & her sister (owners) were ready to retire, so who knows.
Where I’m at in central Illinois there’s dealers an hour away no matter which direction you go. Maybe the moco is just pruning the tree here...

The sad shameful reality is that this is what prolly killed this dealer. I hope the truth is what someone said in another post about the ownership wanting to retire.

My understanding is that becoming a Harley dealership is a major investment of cash. I don't understand how after ponying up a couple of million dollars, the MOCO can just say, YOUR OUT. I can see them refunding your dealership fees, and requiring you to sell back any remaining stock, and unsold vehicles. Of course for some dealerships that would be a best case senerio, if they were going down the drain. I feel Harley's hay day has come and gone, and alot of dealerships must feel the same way. Buy out, sell out, get out.,,,,
