I'm going to run a poll on my site as follows:
[blockquote]If you could attend any one rally this year, which one would it be?
[/blockquote]I can have up to ten choices. So far, I'm thinking about the following: [ol][*]Daytona Beach Bike Week[*]Daytona Beach Biketoberfest[*]Sturgis[*]Little Sturgis[*]Laconia[*]Myrtle Beach Spring Raly[*]Myrtle Beach Fall Rally[*]Hollister[*]Laughlkin River Run[*]Chilicothe Easy Riders Rodea
[/ol]What others are there you think I should mention? Does the River Run belong in there over another. I'd appreciate any help in this.
Also, what's your faborite and why?
Mike
Edited to add Myrtle Beach Spring, Laughlin, and Chilicothe
We aren't much on rallies. I'ddon't think we'd ever attend the big ones. The only rally we'll attend this year is the Golden Aspen in Ruidoso, NM. We enjoy it because they have a nice selection of vendors and not a lot of nonsense goes on while the rally is taking place.
If I could only go to one, it would be one not on your list.......Myrtle Beach Fall Rally.
I prefer it because the weather is more pleasant than in the spring. The kids are back in school. It is not crowded. Getting a nice room for well under 100 bucks a night is easy.
If time were not a consideration, I'd say Sturgis since I haven't been to it. But since I'd need two weeks to do Sturgis with riding the bike there and back, I'd say Laconia since it's close to me.
Daytona Beach Biketoberfest is my choice because when you're done there it's only a day's ride down to Key West for "Fantasyfest". Now there's a party!

If you want an X-rated party centered around bikes, the go to the Easyrider's Rodeo in Chilicothe.
I'd add Laughlin River Run, it's popular on the left coast. Might also consider Rolling Thunder, even though it's not a ralley and has more meaning than a biker's party. There are also many touring bike riders who do Americade, Lake George. Republic of Texas Ralley is getting bigger with folks from all over attending.
There may also be more left coast shindigs that will come up.

We do Street Vibrations in Reno every year. The Cat House Poker Run is always fun. If nothing else you get to check out some...ladies of the evening. Meet Sonny Barger last year at Mustang Ranch. That was pretty cool.
Don't forget Hollister for us West coast people too. That one's pretty popular.
