One of my buddies got a new 2008 Fat Boy last Thursday. I talked to him yesterday to see if he wanted to go for a quick ride. Nope. He said that there was possible scattered showers in the forecast for the next two days. I'm driving down the bone dry interstate with blue skys above me while hearing this song and dance. He also seem proud that he had rolled up 100 miles in 5 days. Geeze. Looks like another garage queen in the making.

And that bothers/impacts you how exactly? So long as he's happy, what difference does it make to anyone? He's your buddie, right? Then just be happy for the guy. He'll ride when, where, and how often he pleases.

I guess his riding habits is similar to those of yours since I seemed to have touched a nerve. Sorry.
I wonder if the "possible scattered showers" was the real reason he didn't ride.
Not riding your new motorcycle if you don't feel like or are too busy is NOT lame..
But, if heDID feellike riding and the"possible scattered showers" kept him from doing so, then that is VERY lame.
He's your buddy, give him the benefit of the doubt.
Maybe he had a real excuse for not riding but just didn't want to tell ya'.
