Actually, I too have to admit that the bike on pic #3 (on the right) is not very consistent with the other drawings, I just put it to get a general view of the model... but they ought to be the same anyway. I'll go with a FXE custom as you suggested.
I've planned to leave a message on the author's BBS. My Japanese still needs improvements but I think I can ask the question properly and perhaps someone will be able to provide me with additional details about that "mysterious" HD.
