help id shovelhead number
I have an old shovelhead that I brought some yearz back and knowing nothing at all about Harleys I assumed I had brought what was advertised a 60s mod shovel w/glide fitted with an 83 mod eng well just in the last few weeks iv been messing about with it and found the eng no. ended in jo and then learning online that means the eng is 1980 not 83 but that's all good, however now iv found a number on the steering neck of the frame that I can find no info about ( N9503439 ) sitting on the bike its stamped on the right side of neck i'd be grateful for any light anyone could shed on this as i'm confused now as to what I actualy have lol Thanks D

pictures of what your looking at helps - the guys will let you know exactly what they see
whats on the title for the chassis number the engine or that frame number or something else - you done have to post all of it just the first few should be all that is needed

www.tabperformance.com has the vin break down. Not sure if it will help here in your instance, but figured someone cruising the tag could get some mileage out of it.
