Default more power

I just bought a 2006 Electra Glide Classic with the 88 cubic inch motor. It has 32000 miles and runs good. It has vance and hines slip ons, arlen Ness air filter and dy.nojet power vision tuner. I would like to get alittle more power out of it. Should I do a new cam or since it is a older bike go to a big bore kit? Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

Cams make a pretty good difference but most people like more heat so they go bigger

With my Road King I first went with a cam job knowing that I would be doing a big bore down the road, which I did, a 98".

I ride with a couple of guys who installed Andrews 21 cams in their TC88s, and they're happy with the power. If you use the Andrews "N" conversion cams, you can convert the cam chain tensioners to the 96" hydraulic type, which is what I did.

Gear cam conversion, bore job, up the compression, port and polish the heads.

Seriously, there isn't anything within reason that you can do with that bike to get a meaningful increase in performance unless you are willing to spend a lot of money and probably compromise its reliability. You would be better off to get a different bike. If it's running well you should just be happy with what you have and not screw it up.

You’ve got a stage 1 upgrade on your bike. Bigger displacment = more power. Get a big bore kit next probably is the best step. My last 88 was bored out to 95, se heads, polished and ported, ran great for back then.
