Default EG Vs. SG - 4" the only difference?

I"m looking at an EG and an SG and as far as I can tell, the only difference is that the SG is 4" longer.

Am I missing something?

it isn't that the sg is 4'' longer, per se, but that it might have something on it to account for that length. both bikes are built on the same frame, have the same 64.0'' wheelbase. the hd website says i don't have permission to view the particular bikes (maybe they're updating something) but in looking at the owner's manual, you get the following information:

FLHT: 94.5'' overall length, 64'' wheelbase, and 4.9'' ground clearance
FLHX: 96.5'' overall length, 64'' wheelbase, and 5.3'' ground clearance
FLHXS: 95.5'' overall length, 64'' wheelbase, and 4.9'' ground clearance

the only thing i can figure is that they got the ground clearance mixed up between the street glide and the standard.

From what I can tell, the FLHT doesn't have the additional light and body work on the bottom of the rear fender. That alone extends the overall length. Different size wheels may play into it, a little bit, but I'm not sure on that.

Don't know exactly what your asking but the tour box on the dressers make it longer! What years and what models are you comparing?

EG, what is that? Electraglide Standard? They have the least amount of chrome.
SG, I assume that's the street Glide, it has upgraded items such as grips and floorboards.
I suggest you go to HD site and compare https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...LHT/FLHX/FLHTK

im not seeing 4"
