Heal up quick. Never mind, that's an oxymoron.... just heal up. It is never quick enough and our old bodies seem to take their time.
The rest of y'all be careful out there. They ARE out for us!!! Remember, I'm pulling for ya....we're all in this together!
Slid out on my bike today. Was going slow but still got banged up. Pulled a muscle in my right shoulder , really hurts to cough and pulled something between a few right ribs.Right hip's the size of a watermelon. Inner right calf grazed and swollen. Top of the foot right at the ankle swollen and a bruised swollen left thumb. Helmet banged on the road prolly the only improvement and I feel faint when I walk sorta weak and dizzy. . . . . Just want to tell all my forum friends- BE SAFE.
Speedy recovery to you. Thanks for sharing. I'm sorry to learn of this and wish you complete healing!
Well I took your advice and went to the er the next day. Turns out I lost a pint of blood, broke 3 ribs, dislocated my right shoulder and fractured my left thumb.
I haven't been on for a few days because I'm having trouble moving and just recovering now.
This is a great forum with lots of great advice, THANKS ALL
Not too bad, I was thinking much worse. Ribs take a long time to heal but as long as you don't breathe real deep, or laugh...you could be riding again real quick.

Ditto others...glad you went and that things aren't worse. You'll spend some time on the DL, but be back riding before you know it.
Get acquainted with a pillow. Even a teddy bear or something. Anytime you need to cough, hug it. Anytime you need to sneeze, hug it and pray. Only way to make it tolerable when ribs heal. At least when I cracked mine that's what helped me most lol.
