This is false debunked conspiracy theory. Apparently from QAnon. This was retweeted from the President and ultimately removed from Twiiter for violating misinformation policy.

I guess if the US is something like the rest of the world, the virus will be killing some of you, sadly. Perhaps if you take some not too intrusive precautions, while you work out which of your institutions is telling lies or exaggerating, that might be a sensible thing to do?

I don’t care if you want to ride around without protective gear, not wear seatbelts, play Russian roulette on the weekends, or mainline heroin with dirty needles. It will be only you at risk. That isn’t the case during a pandemic, you put others at risk with your irresponsibility.

Yes I agree. The amount of politizarion, gas lighting, minute to minute news cycle, social media ... it's an absolute chit show over here. But if you look at what experts and governments are saying/doing around the world.. you get truth. 3/4 's of the world dont shut down/open up/shut down their economies for no good reason.

I agree with staying to the west of Sturgis. For the last 6 trips, I camp outside of Deadwood on Rt 385 south. Great riding in the area, and easy to get to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Hill City, Spearfish Canyon, and even Sturgis.

Yes, it’s about controlling the spread of a dangerous virus that has no cure and extremely limited treatments. It has nothing to do with controlling you.

Social distancing, proper face covering usage, and good personal hygiene are the tools society has to combat it and irresponsible people who purposely choose to disregard them threaten the health and welfare of others. The economy and the unemployment numbers will not become better without this country getting a handle on this disease...and we have completely failed so far.
