South Dakota is seeing a surge of cases but that has a combination of reasons...schools opening, large gatherings like Sturgis, people not caring.

My office had one person go to Sturgis for the rally but they made him quarantine for 14 days; good thing because he has tested positive. I hope he has the sick time, if anything.

cool. Maybe he can put up a rider photo from the Black Hills or Black Hills HD. Some good photographers out there, only $20 for a digital copy.

I applaud your effort. We should get back to debating the real issues about Sturgis, like are you a real biker if you and your buddies circle your motor homes before you go off riding for the day?

I agree! This 'Sturgis Experience' thread has gone off the rails with all the talk of COVID-19. Take those opinions and arguments to the appropriate thread.

I started a new thread and posted the Lost & Found from the Buffalo Chip campground. I wasn't there, but its always funny to see what people lost or left. Check it out.
Anyways, here's a couple of shots from DeadWood. Pretty bike (crummy pix), leather saddle and all.

19.8% positivity test rate. That's really high which prompted my state to issue a travel advisory to South Dakota...don't go, and if you do quarantine for 14 days after.
Who cares? Not me. Take this b.s. else where. I'll post Fridays report from SD health dept when its updated.

Arrow Sturgis 2020?

T.G.I.F.
The numbers are in, about what I expected;

How would I pack that pool on my bike? It might come in handy on a hot day at the campground.

A typo, bad spelling. Use the link from yesterday. I'll fix later. Sorry.

Would your office make someone quarantine if they joined in all the protests that have been going down? Somehow I doubt it.
The hypocrisy is sickening. I rode some 1400 miles on my way up to Sturgis from Texas, much of it through the backbone of the Rockies. You know what I saw on a Saturday riding through those mountain towns? Thousands upon thousands of people packed into farmers markets, outdoor art festivals, parks, lakes, scenic pullovers, on pontoon boats partying, etc etc etc.

Will we hear about those events being super spreaders? Will the national media grind that axe on those types of things? Nope. How many 60 yr olds were in those places, came home, tested positive, and died? We'll never know, because it doesn't fit the agenda. Same reason the "protests" back in May/June supposedly didn't spread the virus, according to the "experts".

Grind your axe somewhere else. This thread is about the Sturgis experience. Which, by the way, was amazing and if you missed it and stayed home in your basement, I feel sorry for you.

Maybe if you towed it there with your Servicar.
