Anyone have the Harley Ultra Jet helmet P/N 98207-05V?
I tried one on today at the dealership and it felt good for a3/4. I own a very well made Arai 3/4 flip up shield helmet, but it feelslike a ton of brick on my head. I like the ability to switch out the visor with a face shield on the Ultra jet, which I will probably do most of the time. I have a Shoei half helmet I wear in the heat of summer.
Just curious if some of you had been happy with the Ultra Jet.
Great helmet. I have three HJC CL-31, which I believe is the same or very similiar helmet. Very comfortable. Easy to install headset speakers. Good ventilation.
I have the Ultra Jet, and have been happy with it. The visor and shield combo is nice for traveling and quick to change if it rains. Since it is actually an HJC helmet, replacement shields or dark tinted shields are available at places other than the HD shop. After a few days in a row of wearing it though, it seems to get heavy, and my neck gets a bit weary.
I have an Ultra Jet I wear on rides where I'll want to use the CB or when I think it might rain (face shield). Rest of the time I wear a half helmet. The Ultra Jet is comfortable, was easy to install the headset in as previously mentioned and is comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
