Default Rode the Livewire again!

My local dealership was running a deal this past Saturday...Test ride a Livewire & get a free T-shirt, and since the dealer is near my GF's house, I figured why not? Got a T-shirt for the GF, & I got to ride this beast once again. I'm still loving it!

I haven’t ridden one. But I like the styling, and it has great fit & finish. It’s not for me, because I tour a lot. But, I can see it appealing to the upscale urbanites.

Part of me says no way, but I’m also thinking if HD did it, it’s got to be pretty good.

Won't they let you just buy a t-shirt without having to ride one of those abortions? j/k

I'm sure the acceleration and muscle is great but the looks alone will keep me from ever getting on one, much like the girls' P.E. teachers from high school.

I was scheduled to ride it, but I sat on it and decided; no. I do not like it. Too heavy; top heavy and WAY TOO COSTLY.
And I don't want to hear the sales pitch.

Well I received this e mail today,

Ah ha, I thought, the chance to thrash somebody else's bike and see if it can mount 8" kerbs in it's stride. Then I read the blurb underneath,
"For one day only the Harley-DavidsonŽ LiveWire Tour is making its way to Leeds Harley Davidson on Saturday 3rd October.

We're inviting you as one of our selected VIP customers to experience the LiveWire on our Jumpstart rolling road, to get a feel for the bike and asking and burning questions you have from the safety of a static demo ride.

As we're still currently restricting the number of people visiting the dealership, we only have a limited number of places available and they're being allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so make sure you book in early on the link below".

Try it on a rolling road? What the pluck is the point of that? I suppose wearing something like this will be required as well,

HD better make EV's work in their stable of offerings. Their competition are joining forces. Zero and Polaris just teamed up in a 10-yr partnership to produce EV's along all of Polaris's product offerings.
