Sounds like you have a lot reasons to not buy a bike... woahs me...
Dude, we are in the mix of a pandemic, inventories are tight and vehicle dealers cant get a lot of inventory.
Most are not doing dealer trades, so if you want something, go get it.
Or,
maybe you can just whine to us about maybe changing brands, like we will all talk you off the ledge or something.
This pandemiic has nothing to do with this. I told them a Fat Bob, any color, they said 3 days they would have it. They ran my credit and had everything done, even the payment. Then they said they could not find one. So I gave them 3 other bikes, they said no problem, well I guess it is. I dont mind that they cant get them, its the fact they keep sayng they can until the day comes to get it.
Just tell me upfront and stop telling me I need to settle for what they have.
With a history like that you won't be happy with another bike, either. Maybe you need to try another brand at this point.
I have been happy with all of them, but just like my cars, every couple years I want a new one.
when im older and cant afford it or just cant ride any longer, at least I can say I had one of those instead of saying I wish I would have.
Whylee honestly the pandemic has everything to do with it. If not for the pandemic the 21's would have been released in August and there would be 20's on the floor everywhere. Instead inventories have been depleted with dealers getting very few bikes weekly and demand has been high at least in indiana it has been.
Galvtexguy, I found while looking for a road king that most dealers don't really update the websites like they should. A bunch of them had road kings on the website but they didn't have any in stock. I would still call if they have one listed though, might get lucky.
If the dealer hadn't "ran" your credit, you would not know that you are eligible for financing on the bike(s) you want, and you wouldn't be here complaining about the dealer not having those bikes. You say that you have owned twelve Harleys yet you don't have the means to transport one and don't have the desire to drive a few hours to buy a new one now that your financing has been approved?
If you are working seven days a week and caring for a grandchild, when would you find the time to ride your new Harley?
Are you trolling?
Wrong, they do not need to run a hard check to see if you quailify.
