I bolted my HF chock to a 2x12 10 ft long. The weight of the bike keeps the chock from moving when I take the bike out. I always use the eye bolts to strap the bike forward. Cut a plywood wheel the same diam as your front wheel, and adjust the chock with the plywood wheel for easy extraction.

i have a condor chock, and i'm okay with it. unfortunately, with my short legs, it's kind of a bear to pull the bike out of it. if i had to do it over, i'd go with the wheeldock setup. yes, it is outside of your price range, $260 shipped from them, but you may be able to find one elsewhere for less? maybe used?

I'm a bit late here, but I had the HF wheel dock for my Sporty. Worked well. I could pull in and out with no difficulty. Tried with the Street Glide and I could hardly get the bike out of the chock. Too damned heavy to roll over the rocker. I bought the WheelDock and have been happy with that. I can roll in and out with ease. I know this is expensive, but worth it to me. I almost always park the bike on the WheelDock when it's in the garage. I am short legged (29-30" inseam) so moving that big pig is sometimes a chore. Good luck on your decision.
