I bought it new in '75 from Roy's H-D in Pontiac, MI for $ 3995.00
THe "King" tour pak is on the front porch.

Thank you for your close observation of the ‘72. This sheds much light on what I believed to be a stock bike. This bike would be a nice rider bike for someone but I already have a sweet 2000 STC for that, my purposes would be for a stock restoration.

here's the likely problem.... it's an old harley in what appears to be good shape. Its now owned by "non harley" people who heard their father/grandfather talk about the bike for decades. There's an attachment thats not rational

i'm thinking asking price will be north of $20k for the $12,000 retail bike
