The Harley dealer in Traverse City, Mi. is folding its tent up 3-1-21. The owner said sales growth has been in off-road sector for the last decade. Film at 11.

Yep, you go into any metric dealership that used to sell bikes around here and they have very few bikes all in the very back corner of the dealership. All outside and inside is chalked full of side by sides...

Miracle mile and NYC HD wer bought by the Veracka Group. All the assets and some employees will go to NYC . Hempstead HD (now Nassau HD)was originally owners of Brooklyn HD till they sold the franchise in the late 80’s.

good riddens. The owners were nothing but a bunch of thieves. I only feel bad for the employees.

I rolled into my local dealership this morning about an hour after it opened. There were 2 bikes in the huge parking lot. They now sell several other brands not just HD. They have a large staff, tons of "merch" 2-3 guys in parts, 2-3 guys behind the service counter, etc. Huge showroom, event buildings, etc. I hope they are doing well, but I just can't see how. 3-4 years ago, the traffic would have been huge on a Saturday morning. Maybe the end of August is just a very slow time, and things will pick up. Their inventory of new bikes is maybe 1/3 of what it use to be.

Decent hard working people trying to make a living while many sit home waiting for the next "stimulus" check.

We laughed until milk shot our our noses(which is weird because lactose intolerance runs deep in our genetics), then told him to go away & irritate someone else.

White liberals are the worst, most patronizing, tone-deaf people out there, and they’re currently running the country.

I wonder if the MoCo decision to limited inventory will include closing dealerships as well. Seems like there is one on every corner now.
