Default Question about the touring models

I will eventually be looking to add another bike. I'm thinking of a bagger but I will want it with ape hangers and no windshield or fairing.

Is the Road King the best , easiest HD bagger model to do this on?

Thanks.

Yes. If you don’t want a windshield or a fairing it’s about the touring bike you can accomplish that with.

The Road King is the best touring bike for that look. They make apehangers that work with the bat wing on the Street Glide etc, but they really don't pull it off the same way in my opinion.

Of all the touring bikes, Road kings look the best with apes in my opinion.

Really the RK is the only option without an attached fairing and windshield
although I thing doing a 4 or 500 mile day without a windshield would be brutal over the course of multiple days.

Does this ever make me feel old, I remember more than that daily when I was in my twenties when nothing seemed to be tiring or uncomfortable because I had a motorcycle and it was all mine.

Now I see forty degree weather and flinch.

The Road King is the one for that. Looks great without a fairing or windshield.
As far as looks, the bags have to stay on.
