A friend and I went last year. A very awesome event. If you have any chance at all I highly recommend that you high tail it down there. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Any reason to go to the Fredericksburg Hill Country area is a big plus.

Dang it. I see Fandango! and I get all excited about opening up this thread and finding a ZZ top video and there's nothing in sight. Now I'm jonesin' for some ZZ top.

Old 96 abides. A fix for your ZZ Top jonesin'. A forgotten gem. And. A true tell. Highway 6 is a Texas road. **** was crazy in them days. Enjoy.

I missed your thread. Thanks for posting, OLD 96. My wife and I always enjoy a nice ride to Fredericksburg. We pass through Llano on the way so we always make a stop at Cooper's BBQ.

Been through Texas four times now. Two of the four included a stop at Coopers. Great food

Just a little more info. If any one is interested in planning on going. I used Oakwood RV Resort last year for my popup. It is right there very close to the fairgrounds. If I go this year. I think I will camp on the grounds. Just a small taste of what will be there Thanks. Old 96.
