Hello yall, hope all is well.
I have a Cardo Bluetooth communication/ music system. I want to try wireless earbuds instead of using the Cardo speakers that are in my helmet.
Is anyone doing this and if so what manufacture of earbuds are you using? I ride with 8 guys on 10 day trips. I need intercom and music to function through my Cardo system.
THANKS
S
Would the Onn earbuds from Walmart suit your needs? I have known folks to ride with these Bluetooth buds and also the ones that are wired to each other (but not to the phone). Folks say they stay in well during the ride.
I have used the galaxy buds live and the air pods. The problem I had with both was not enough volume over the wind and motor and I had a problem with them falling out of my ears when I pulled my helmet off. The best option I found for headphones only was something similar to these from amazon
but they hurt my ears after a couple of hours. I also have hearing loss and tinnitus (constant ringing in my ears) so I have a hard time hearing with background noise, and I have a full-face helmet which may not be the case for you (is not for most HD riders I have seen). After trying all of the above mentioned I ended up still going with a helmet system and earplugs trying to preserve what hearing I have left.
I have tinnitus too and getting worse. I have a Cardo system with upgraded JBL speakers. I tried earplugs and the music sucked and intercom did to.
I going to try Shure plug in ear pods. They have noise cancellation and I feel for 100.00 it’s worth trying. I’m going on a ten day ride and there will be 7 of us all on Cardo system. It has to be better than what I’m experiencing now. I don’t blame Cardo or JBL that audio isn’t clear enough for me.
