I’m surprised nobody suggested it yet but...pinlock.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a race helmet or touring helmet - that system has never fogged on me. I have a few helmets that are not pinlock ready and I tried all the spray on options, both home made and retail products, with no success. Cracking the visor on a non pinlock shield sometimes works but I’ve been caught out plenty of times when it fogs at speed anyway and I’m left squinting at the road ahead for several minutes before it clears.

I have a "breath box" that goes in and comes out easy. Wear it when it's cold in the mornings and then remove it when it's warmer. It's just held in place by hook and loop. Kinda like a fighter pilot o2 mask but soft material. Easy peasy.
Here's one brand....

Great discussion with a couple of new things to try.

I thought maybe the fog was due to a rapid change in temps, like taking a helmet from the warm house out into the chilly morning air.
Leaving the helmet hanging from the handlebars out in the cold air resulted in a cat pawing it to the ground and spraying it with urine.
Of course I didn't realize that until I had it on my head.

I got reminded last week to make sure ALL my helmet vents were open all the way. After a half hour of freeway riding, got an area of condensation built up on the visor. My FF Arai helmet has a neck curtain, which tightly seals out below the jaw airflow (and noise) very well, and the visor has a pinlock installed, but I had left a front intake vent closed accidently. Made a difference big time.

Pinlock (double glazing systems) is the answer.

FWIW I have tried "them all" including a NASA product.
Dish soap technique is better than most.

I removed the face shield and just use the slide down visor.

However; what DOES work is technique. Keep all vents in your helmet open. Crack the visor to the first indent (maybe about a 1/4" inch. When you get going to about 50 mph, you can close the shield all the way. It won't fog at speed. Slow down, crack it back open. Stoplight, open all the way.

I've tried it all. This is the only thing that ever worked.

What I've noticed about the pinlock visor on my helmet is that if the two visor shields don't have a tight seal together, it will fog up between them. The inner visor usually has a silicone seal around the edge that is supposed to fit tight against the larger outer shield. For my visor at least, there is a small, cam type adjustment on the pinlocks. I needed to take a tiny, jeweler's type Philips screwdriver, and adjust the pins until it made the inner visor fit tight against the outer shield.
Even still, sometimes the bottom edge has the slightest gap that lets some fog form on the very bottom, but it stays out of my field of view. The pinlock setup is the best at keeping my visor mostly fog free. I ride to work on a lot of chilly mornings so it is a must for me.

A pinlock came with my helmet I got last August but I never tried putting it on because I've heard weird things happen with vision at night time. Can anyone confirm this?
