Default New Air Intake

I am curious for those that have switched out their stock air breather with an aftermarket one what do you do with that plug that normally would go into your stock air box ?

thank you

there is a wiring plug to that plugs into the back of the stock air box. I would assume its for a sensor of some sort. I will get a picture later on today.

The Screaming Eagle or after market intakes attach to the throttle body ahead of the plug. The plug is not involved in an intake change/upgrade.

that is what I have is the screaming eagle. I know it doesn't have a spot to plug in that connector. so do you just wire tie it up and tuck it away? wont there be any codes because its no longer connected.

The new air filter goes in front of the plug and the plug is not involved in any way.
