The bike never roled. I had it sliding on the left peg, then the pegs caught, the whole bike jumped up and I slammed down hard on my right shoulder and chest. That impact caused me to loose grip of the bars, it was I that then rolled while the bike slid left on the right mirros, peg and exaust.
I just checked the bike again, all I need is a new mirror.

Glad you made it out alive bro ! Once you get in oil, all bets are off.....The only advice i know of when you get in oil is do not use the brakes......Just down shift if you have to and just steer the bike as gently as possible.......Of course more often than not [ like in your case ] One don'r have the luxury of knowing they are on oil till its too late.......Hope ya heal up quickly ! Be glad you was'nt on the bridge in minnesota !

how to avoid this: buy a 6 piston caliber front and back with larger rotors, Harleyslack braking power thus the lock-up.
I dont want to hear about proper front to back breaking, just give us better brakes.

Glad your OK. Hard to beleive you can go down that hard and pretty much walk away. As much as I know you are hurting, I think it is pretty cool that you got back on the bike and rode home almost as if to brush the wreck off like nothing happened. Just glad it wasn't worse.
