Hi
Lost keys while riding. My FOB, gas cap and luggage key.... Now I just can't open my gas cap and lugguages on my Heritage FLHCS 2019. I had even locked my door opener for garage as well as my leather jacket in the luggage.
Can't put gas, can't get into the luggage.
Any ideas on what to do ? Can these locks be picked or better to get dealer involved ?
thanks
The first thing I do when I get a bike is program my Security code and buy a spare set of keys. I tape one to my bike. Your key code is under the plastic cover on the key. You usually have to provide proof of ownership to your dealer. I just bought a used bike and it only came with one fob, so I'm going to buy another one and have the dealer program it.
When I go on a trip I keep the spare keys and fob on a belt loop key holder, that is really sturdy. Unfortunately it's not made anymore. Thick metal, including the ring.
