Buy it. I've owned a Ducati ('97 900 Super Sport). It was the best handling motorcycle I have ever ridden, and I've owned a bunch and have ridden even more. Buy it now!

Did you ever consider a Buell?

That is what Iwould love to get. Keep the superglide for when the wife and I ride and get a Buell Super TT or lightning long for local twisties.

I do agree With Anibuss though. I had a Kawasaki ZRX1200R before the HD and I would not get a super high HP bike again. Ya wind up using it to liberally. The Buell (or similarly the monster) can still cruise but is a lot of fun when the going gets really really twisty.

Definitely go for the Ducati if it is between this and adding a second H-D to the garage. Diversity is good and you'll gain an appreciation for each versus more of the same. And consider one of the classic models if you have the right roads nearby you want to go down... namely, curving backroads, canyons, hills, etc. Would not find the ergos of the classics optimal for city riding, stop and go trafffic. For this the Monster would be a better choice and I would still go this route versus a second H-D.

The curves of the nearby canyons and mountain passes are a key reason why this Bologna thing shares space in the garage with the H-D. Nothing like it.

It's called the 1098s Tricolore. About 400 made worldwide. Limited production run. The color scheme is stunning, including the light gold frame and wheels. The real beauty is its performance.

From Red Rocks Park west of Denver...

Sfarson,

Great looking bike mate,

I sold my S4RS to get my Fat Boy for the pure reason to SLOW DOWN and take it easy on the road.

Monsters are a great HOOLIGAN bike if that's what you want and the S4RS has plenty of grunt for that

I've often said: "So many bikes, so little time". Get the one you want and enjoy it. Good luck.

I'd go with a Ducati, but not the model you posted. Looks way too uncomfortable. Ducati makes a nice bike.
