LS2 is made in China, not Europe. I run a 3/4. Affordable but really noisy.
Yeah thanks for pointing that out. They are headquartered in Spain. I watched a YouTube which I think was Revzilla and they refer to them as a major European helmet producer. Noise is not an issue with 1/2 helmets. Build quality looks good.Yeah just double checked mine and it does say "Made in China".
Found this on Google:
These days LS2 are headquartered in Spain and produce well over 1,000,000 motorcycle helmets a year in their China factory, selling their helmets globally - including to North America, Europe and Australasia.
Mine came in today. I was under the impression that it was made in Europe. Made in China is definitely a let down. It’s really sad that dam near everything is made there.
We both use the Bell Pit Boss helmets and have been pleased with them. I tend to wear a flat or satin helmet as glare off a gloss helmets bothers the Mrs. So I'm not afraid to shoot a little matte paint if needed. But I am interested in how the LS2's work out for you!

"1990 Mr. Arthur Liao invested about 350 Euros and started his fledgling helmet business in a tiny house of less than 600 square feet. At that time he could only afford to hire one employee, Mr. Peng Zheng..."
Rode three days, 600 miles in temps between 78 and 91 degrees. I like this helmet very much.It feels lighter on the head and there is no question it is cooler. My wife says the material is more wicking than the Bell. We would test her compared to the LS2 when we would stop and the LS2 was dryer than the Bell. The only complaint I have it with the visor. I struggle to find the tab to pull it down. I also wear prescription glasses. It will not clear and pull over my regular glasses. When wearing my prescription sunglasses they do not get along with the visor. I cannot explain it. It was not too dark, but distorted and a wierd color / shade.
I always carry a different helmet when traveling in case we encounter weather so I'm not going to worry about it. For the money I am pleased.
Been trying to solve the noise problem on the Sport Glide. Have tried 3 different helmets. Finally broke down and drove to Iron Pony in Columbus, Ohio. Thousands of helmets to try on. 4 hours later I left with an LSR 2 Horizon modular. It just fit better than the rest. Rachet strap and drop down visor plus it has a pinloc shield. Put 213 miles on today, quietest helmet I have ever owned. All this for $175
I am on my second LS2 Rebellion now and my full face is their LS2 Carbon. Their shape fits my large melon and the Rebellion fits well and the vent works good. My wife also has a Rebellion which she likes a lot.
MHR is the owner of LS2, they are a chinese company, LS2 has a design and distribution center in Barcelona, Spain but the helmets are produced in Guangdong, China, not in Spain.
