Bell Pit Boss OUT - LS2 Rebellion IN
I have a Shoei J-Cruise 3/4 and a Schrubreth C3 Pro modular for rain and winter riding. In the hotter summer months we wear 1/2 helmets most of the time. The Bells are a quality helmet, comfortable and priced fairly. The only complaint I have had with them is the drop down shield will not clear my prescription glasses. I usually wear sunglasses anyway.
The liner started peeling off the Bell and leaving pieces on my forehead. Time for a new one. I read a lot of posts here on HDF and did some inner web and YouTube searches. Still could not find white color, but found an overall package I like and a color I can live with.
Purchased LS2 Rebellion in brushed alloy color.
As for size and weight it is almost identical to the Bell. The interior is nicer in both my opinion and the wifes. The quick release strap is very nice and I look forward to trying out the front air vent. It should be much cooler while rolling. It does not have a zip in curtain for cold months like a the Bell, but does come with snap in ears pads for both warmth and to hold speakers for communications.
First impressions are very good. It was $119.98 on Amazon with two day free shipping.
Sizing was very good the first time based on their size configuration chart.
LS2 seems to be a leading European manufacturer. The drop down shield does clear my sunglasses and safety glasses. It will not cover my standard prescription glasses.

Always Ahead is their saying all inside the helmet.
There are seven snaps. Un-snap them and the liner comes out for cleaning which is nice.
No, leaving for a 600 mile ride tomorrow. I will give an update in a couple of days.
