i have the 2010 fatboy lo i just notice the rear fender gap . one side is wider then the other the tire does not rub everybody tells me this is normal on the softtails has anybody seen this thank you

If the wheels not centered in the fender it's a spacer issue.
As in the spacers were swapped from right to left and left to right during a tire replacement.
Or not.
Is the belt tracking true in the sprocket?
As mentioned above, check that the rear wheel is installed correctly.
But the wheels should be aligned with the swingarm and frame, not the sheet metal. The HD manual shows how to check that, and how to build a tool to measure the distance (alignment) between the axle and swingarm bold on the frams. The sheet metal can be adjusted some once everything else is aligned properly.
