Default Riding Shoes

Hey all, was wondering if anyone here wore riding shoes like these? https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...eet-3-wp-shoes

Typically I wear boots but I'd like something similar to a regular shoe too that still offers decent protection and good grip if y'all could offer any suggestions.

Any crash protection product is better than none.
I'd think this design is not robust for a crash, but again it is better than a non-motorcycling designed shoe.

If you desire more comfort, I'd use them.

Toe shifter pad? Stickiness of soles?
In these two aspects, maybe another co-member can comment.

Have fun.

I have no experience with them, but looks like a good choice. I am an Icon boot fan, and prefer boots for the extra lift; helps when I'm riding a taller bike. @ 5'7" with a 30" inseam, any boost is good boost.

Wear a boot with ankle protection period. If you have to put your foot down at speed for any reason your ankle will break. Anything that locks your ankle forward is the way to go, if you like your feet facing forward that is. In an accident most shoes simply fly off and that doesn't usually end well.

I was wearing hiking boots for the longest time , but recently decided to wear my sportbike shoe-boots.They offer pretty good ankle protection , Gore-Tex , very breathable , comfortable , and won't fly off in an accident...( hopefully ).
I realize they don't fit the " Harley " look but too bad.

I have a pair of the TCX Ace WP version. They are very comfortable, offer up good protection and are very stable with no sole slippage.

Just came back from a 4,000 mile trip wearing the "TCX Mood Gore-Tex Shoes", a similar riding shoe made by TCX (purchased at Revzilla). They were very comfortable while riding as well as off the bike. On several days we walked around for many hours and then got back on the bikes again. No issues with comfort.

I have a pair of these. Alpinestars SMX-1 R boots. My only complaint is I wish they came in a wider width.
