Clock/Time on HD's. . .

Has anyone else here experienced their clock moving ahead. I have experienced and heard people state that their clocks are slow, but have yet to hear anyone complain that their clock is fast. On my Sportster the clock moves ahead up to an hour ahead. I thought it was something odd with the bike itself. I just recently bought a Pan America, the other night I was on my way to work and I thought I was late as the clock read 10:30pm. I ended up at work quite early, yesterday I noticed that the clock was off by 1 1/2 hours. This is the oddest thing. . .

H-D programmed it that way so it gets older quicker and you have to trade it in on a new one sooner.

I'm on my second RKS, and both of them keep accurate time. Don't bother asking the dealer, they will tell you that they all do that!

Everything has a clock these days since everything has a “chip” and every chip has a clock function. It just means one more thing I have to reset twice a year.
