No, they`ll pay me money and I will buy another.

If my vehicle gets stolen I don`t want to see it again.

No telling what kind of damage could be done, (in the case of a car or truck, what could have been done in them or hidden in them).

There's an apple little gizmo you can buy for not much. Called an Apple Air Tag. People are using them as a GPS tracker. Buy 2. One that can be found with a relatively easy search and one that can't. You do need an apple device to use it.

Get "inner bags" for your bike's saddlebags and take them into your motel room. If your bike is gone in the morning, call the local police, and then your insurance agent. You're not going to want to sit around in that motel room waiting for the cops to find your bike, or what's left of it. If your bike is really special and one of a kind, don't use it for travelling.
Pack your bike so that it won't be a major PITA to unpack it when you stop for the night.

They work via Bluetooth, by connecting to an iOS device running the app. Then depend upon other devises to create a mesh network. IMHO they are very undependable..

Ha ha! We didn't want to be part of it either hence Brexit and it looks like there's a decent Financial Trade Agreement in the offing so we may not continue to get ripped off so much for parts?

A decent tracker with remote monitoring will tell you as soon as your bike is tampered with by phone/text and e-mail. It does allow you to sleep a little better when travelling.
