You guys are nuts.....

I dont leave bikes sitting out of gear. Other than that Ive seen enough HDs flopped over because of the sketchy jiffy stand, let alone sitting there shaking away at an idle on it.

I’m guessing it would have a feature like that. My motor trike reverse shuts off bike if I accidentally put in gear.

Remote start on a motorcycle is a ridiculous idea.

that's funny, I've been riding since nineteen senny two, I'm on my 20th Harley, and I have never once... Not ONCE.... seen a failure on a Harley Jiffy stand.
that's the one thing the Co got right.

No but it is winter. Some folks have quit riding for a few months.

Never seen the stand itself fail, but definitely watched a few start sliding around shaking at idle

Agreed, would be better off lighting some cash on fire than putting a remote start on your HD. Not sure what it would accomplish other than begging for problems.

Wife had one on her car. Worked fine for several years, then it screwed up. Had to get towed.
The minor convenience wasn't worh it.
On a bike? I hide a kill switch in my bike so nobody can start it but me. No thanks.

Bite your tongue Highwaymans. HD makes the best stand in the industry. I have had two bikes roll unexpectedly and neither fell off the stand. If its maintained and properly engaged there's no way its folding up.
I was changing spark plugs on my Sportster in a shed and had accidentally bumped it in gear and didn't know it. When I was done swapping the plugs out I reached up and hit the starter and the bike lurched forward 2 or 3 feet. It hit an old dishwasher that I had sitting there and still never fell over. No harm other than a small scratch on the front fender from hitting the dishwasher.
And once when I got off my 04 Electra Glide at work I started walking in to the factory and heard a scraping sound behind me. I turned around to see my bike rolling backwards in a half circle on a sloped asphalt parking lot. It stayed on the stand the whole time.

Edit- By the way, what's the point of a remote start on a bike? I being serious, I can't imagine one good reason to have one. Am I missing something?
