I am interested in what they will reveal. The tagline here on the reveal is "Faster for longer".....which doesn't sound like business as usual. Maybe a sport tourer based on the Rev Max engine?
That would be nice....
If Harley created a full fairing sport tour like my previous BMW RT I would be there on day one to try it out and then try to find an excuse not to buy one. Have that trick Pan Am suspension but with a true full fairing; no tank / lowers gap; and that power with Harley styling... and serious drop in weight from the current tour line... sign me up
My wild-*** guess - a Nostalgia-series variant of the Low Rider will be produced with a fairing and bags that pays homage to the old FXRT.
I bought an '85 just like that from Bubba Boswell in Nashville. That same color scheme, but I didn't get the tour pak, and my bike had dual front discs. I still have that whole front end propped up against the shop wall LOL!
Cautiously waiting for moco to do something similar... i would trade the '11 FLHTC... but not in any hurry.
Did you buy a bag of potato ? Just wondering how could you buy something without seeing it or knowing how is going to look ... just curious
Interesting point. Even if I was headstrong set on purchasing a 2022 (which I pretty-much am), I would NEVER order one sight unseen. No you are not committed to the purchase but why waste everyone's time? Sure there will be lots of curious foot traffic in the dealerships in early February & March, but I live in PA. How many folks are really going to ride one out in the dead of winter? Don't worry. Harley will make more. Now, you folks in the south that have a longer riding season (bastards LOL), you might not want to wait if you see something you like. Not sure how the supply will be for 2022.
I did stop at a dealership yesterday to ask a few questions about this & that. Interesting note: While, of course, they encourage folks to pre-order 2022 bikes, the dealership named must answer very direct questions if the customer changes his or her mind.

if they really want people to preorder they should ditch the surcharge on those bikes.

Actually that dealer I spoke with said that is exactly what they do. They apparently take those fees right off the top. The tradeoff is, since they were recently bought out by another regional conglomerate, they are running with their policy of no test rides. All you would ever get is a 24 hours "buyers remorse" in lieu of a test ride.
I suppose if that was the lowest price around, technically you could test ride a new one somewhere else and pull the trigger with them and ride the hell out of it for 24 hours. Since I will most likely be buying in the winter, I don't really have time for those games.
