Putting new bars on.my 08 FLHTC. Ordered cables from Hill Country Cycles. Has anyone been sent a cable without it having a adjusting nut on it?1st pick is OE clutch cable.2nd is aftermarket cable, no adjustment nut, everything is attached to the cable.

Its the same as your OE cable.Dont see any difference.They spread by spinning apart from one another to take up the slack.The center nut locks it in place.
You'll need 2 wrenches, only the bottom 1 spins at the split.
That's what the 2 "Flats" are for.
Then the jam nut goes against the bottom adjuster.
It could just be tight.
