For those of you who responded to the (bike falling to bits poll) I thought it might be further interesting todo another poll based on miles travelled rather than time owned? So,if you have owned an 88 twin cam (purchased new or used) with up to 50,000 miles on it and have had amechanical problem (serious or otherwise) please have a say.Include any warranty work!

You know I tried a poll similar to this on another forum for another brand of bike. My god you would have thought I was trying to kill them. Big bunch of babies. Good luck with the poll man.

I don't understand the poll, unless it's used to say see how may bikes this brand has these costs for breakdowns. Mine's been perfect every day any weather, and any length ride year round for nearly 12,000 miles. I've had nearly every other brand in over 40 years, and less quality. HD is worth the extra $, and these days it's only a few extra $'s anyway.
