i have an 08 ultra only had it a week but the only problem so far is now my wife wants to go alll the time. lol. i really love the new ultra it so smooth and solid on the road. i had an 07 rkc for a yr and the ultra is hands down the best i have been on. i dont feel as much heat on the 08 but it now has sheilds that you can direct at the motor for more air.

Just did 140 miles yesterday at some highly illegal speeds and with about 1200 miles so far, I think I can say I have NO delay in throttle response. I also have no tran noise or any other problem, matter a fact I kinda like my new Road Turd. Maybe I could find something to bitch about if I really tried hard but I'm to busy having fun and eat'n bugs.

I just hope you don't have to fix that throttle. I suspect it would cost more than a cable. Just ride and be happy. Worse things in life you could have to worry about.
