i have had my nolan n100 for..um.. 5 years? time to get a new one because the liner is getting wore out. i WILL be getting a nother nolan, i love these things. i find my self pullin down the face and opening it may times durring a ride.

its so handy, when it rains, windy, pull on the highway....down comes the face. slow speed, getting hot, what to talk to someone, need some more air, sweating? up it goes with just a flick. love it!

i also love the chin strap connector. its hard plastic. just put tab a into slot b and CLICK, done, to trying to loop a floppy strap around the dam metal d rings.
do go try one on though.

Both me and the wife have Nolan 102s with the Bluetooth connection so we can chat and listen to music on the ipod together.
They are great helmets, if a little heavier than normal, Comfortable and if it gets too warm (not too much chance of that here in blighty) just flip the lid up, it even comes with a sun visor so you dont have the problem of trying to get sunglasses on under the helmet.

I have had a 102 N for about a year. I picked it over the others because of the fit and some of the other features, sun visor and strap connector. I have more of a rounded face and the Nolan fits better than the HJC or HD helmets. You just need to try on different makes and see what feel comfortable.

I have both a Nolan N-42 and N-102. Good helmets and the flip-up shade is good for riding in shady areas or tunnels. Here is a link where I found good prices on both helmets.

I have an HD System Full Face Helmet
made by HJC. My wife and I both have it and it fits and works nicely
. HD part # 97212-02V

The modular helmets offer great protection, block the cold, the wind, and the noise...especially on the highway.

Just go to a Skidoo dealer and pickup a modular snowmobile helmet.
I love mine, it flips up out of the way for an open face ride or down for the full face and has a sunshield that slides down when you want it. You can also remove just 2 screws and have it an open face all the time if you want. With it in full face mode you can also flip the visor up just a crack for more air or all the way.
It comes with a mouthpiece to keep it from fogging up but if its that cold you surely dont want to be on a bike.

Nolan makes a top quality helmet,I have an N-41 3/4 with the extratinted pull down shield...

They are made in Italy-the only neg is that the US distributor customer rep is a clueless biotch - While I was at the dealer they called to check out availability different sized internal padding and she was rude and completely unprofessional...really pizzed the guy at the dealer off.
