Beer at the Chinese restaurant at Alton Bay, the one with the deck facing the road
Is that the restaurant with the great Yelp reviews? Not sure how else to locate your recommendation since you listed no road or cross street. I guess I could ride around the bay looking for a deck facing the road.

If you follow the yelp reviews--- I would never eat there.

JP China, where Route 11, at the south end of Alton Bay, makes a hard left going North to South. Corner of Rand Hill Road. If doing a lap around the lake you would make another left and head north on 28A We stop for the view and an adult beverage. Lots of people hanging out, and you watch the bikes going through a hard turn, always entertaining.
I can't speak for whiny Yelp reviews. Food is OK, remember you are in NH and order Chinese food accordingly. Not the place to order ambitiously, but the beverages are cold and view is great.

I wanted to update my Garmin basecamp with some new waypoints, hence that was why I was asking about this. Looks like JP China closed and was opened again as the Freshwater Cafe, which is now also closed.

Might be closed for the season, summer Lakes region and all of that. During Bike Week I would be surprised if someone doesn't open at least the bar, always a big crowd and fun stop. We usually do the lake counter clockwise starting from the Weris and coming South on the East side of the Lake. Time for a stop by the time you get there, and then a real nice stretch of road back into the Weirs. Watch for the cops, they know it is a nice piece of road.
Laconia makes it INCREDIBLY hard for places that don't already hold a liquor license to open up in a closed spot for bike week.
I met Jesse James Dupree a few times at radio remotes in Laconia and he mentioned that doing any alcoholic beverage selling during bike week was near impossible
PS watching my friends interview him was a riot, really nice guy. He brought a little person (older male) in a diaper and sucking on a pacifier to a radio remote.... if I find the pictures I'll post them
In '19 me and my cousin were on our way to N.S. and N.L. and I intentionally routed us to North Conway specifically to visit Mt. Washington.
Both of us were riding Tri-Glides but they would not allow us to ride up the mountain due to the weather and i was closed to motorcycles.
We tried the "these aren't motorcycles" argument (unsuccessfully)!
Last year during bike week my wife and I went up on Friday and it was 65 at the base and 62 at the top and clear, one of the best weather days I"ve had riding up the Auto road----Hope some of you guys get the chance this year
