When I've tried to set up 1k service for my RK (traded since) last year, I was told 8 weeks, so naturally, I decided screw that, did service myself, then 5K, then 1k again on my RG It ain't rocket science for just regular maintenance.
Just took my son-in-law out to pick up his van from repair shop. They are booked until sometime the week after next. I would say that a 2-3 week lead time would be about normal. Remember spring has sprung and shops are getting busy. Let us know how long you have to wait.
just curious, if you were to call your dealer today for a service appointment how long is the wait before they can see your bike ?
I called Wolverine HD in Mt. Clemens MI last Wednesday. I needed my front end taken apart for some maintenance and while we were at it, I had them upgrade the front suspension with some Legend's stuff.
Dropped it off the following Monday. Picked it up the next day.
